Airforce Museum Trip

Today all of Toroa went for a class trip to the Air Force Museum of New Zealand. Some of the highlights were when we got to go for a pretend flight in an Andover aircraft and practise jumping out of the plane into the ocean for a pretend emergency landing! We also saw a lot of amazing planes in the Aircraft Hall, including a Skyhawk, Mustang, Harvard and Kittyhawk (the names of our school houses!) A huge thank you to Chris the education officer from the museum and all of the lovely parent helpers who came along and supported this trip.
